To compete in the Miss St. Francis Scholarship Competition 2025, February 8, 2025 a contestant must live, work or go to school in St. Francis, Cudahy, South Milwaukee, Oak Creek or in the 53207 zip code of Milwaukee.

Step 1: Determine Your Eligibility

​

Age 14 - 27 years of age (Local/State)   [AGE CALCULATOR]

​

Miss St. Francis Contestants - 

​

  • You must be at least 18 years of age as of the State Competition (June 21, 2025)

​

  • You must not be older than 27 years of age as of the State Competition (June 21, 2025)

​

  • To further clarify: The candidate can turn 28 in 2025 as long as it is after June 21, 2025.

       

        Miss St. Francis' Teen Contestants

​

  • You must be at least 14 years of age as of the State Competition (June 21, 2025)

​

  • You must not be older than 17 years of age as as of the State Competition (June 21, 2025)

​

  • To further clarify: The Teen Candidate can turn 18 in 2025 as long as it is after June 21, 2025.

​

Residency

​

Must fulfill one of the following:

​

  • Be a resident in the city of St. Francis, Cudahy, South Milwaukee, Oak Creek or the 53207 zip code of Milwaukee for at least (120) days prior to the local competition (

​

  • Be enrolled on a full-time basis at a accredited school in St. Francis, Cudahy, South Milwaukee, Oak Creek or the 53207 zip code of Milwaukee

​

  • Be employed on a full-time basis in the city of St. Francis, Cudahy, South Milwaukee, Oak Creek or the 53207 zip code of Milwaukee for at least (120) days prior to the local competition.  (full-time defined as an average of no less than 40 hours per week for a single employer)

​

Citizenship

​

  • Must be a citizen of the United States of America

​

  • Your parents are welcome.

  • Bring your completed application to the meeting, if not submitted prior.

  • Please be prepared to have your photo taken for the program book following the Orientation.

Photos are Head & Shoulders only; Attire is office/professional/job interview; appropriate hair & make up required.

 

Areas of Competition:

 

Private Interview: Each Miss St. Francis/Miss St/Francis' Teen participate in an individual 10-minute press conference-style interview with our panel of judges. Contestants are asked questions from their resume, community service initiative, education, career goals, and other topics decided by the judging panel.

Talent/HER Story™: Contestants perform a 90 second talent/HER Story™ of their own choosing. Some possible talents include singing, dancing, gymnastics, instrumental music, spoken word, baton twirling, etc.

Evening Gown: Contestants model on stage in an outfit of her own choosing, representative of what she would wear to a formal, black tie social event.

 

Health and Fitness: Contestants will be on stage wearing fitness apparel by Rebel Athletics. 

On-Stage Conversation: Contestants will be asked one question written by the judges as a continuation of their Private Interview.
