Delegate agrees to abide by all rules of the local Miss St. Francis Competition now in effect or as announced hereafter and agrees to enter into a standard "Application and Agreement" with the Miss St. Francis & Miss Wisconsin Competitions.
Delegate agrees that the time, manner and method of judging shall follow the Miss America guidelines. The decision of the panelists shall be final and individual scores shall not be divulged.
Delegate agrees that if she is selected as Miss St. Francis (MSF) /Miss St. Francis' Teen (MSFT), she will not sign a management contract with any individual or corporation, and that she will not give any written or verbal endorsement of a mercantile commodity or commercial organization, nor will she permit any photographs to be used in connection with any advertised commodity or service not associated with this competition, without permission of the Miss St. Francis Scholarship Organization.
Delegate agrees that if she is selected as Miss St. Francis or Miss St. Francis’ Teen she will meet all deadlines set by the Miss Wisconsin competition.
Eligibility:
a. TO BE ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE IN MISS SAINT FRANCIS OR MISS SAINT FRANCIS' TEEN A DELEGATE MUST EITHER LIVE, WORK OR ATTEND SCHOOL IN ANY OF THE FOLLWING AREAS: ST. FRANCIS, CUDAHY, SOUTH MILWAUKEE, OAK CREEK OR THE 53207 ZIP CODE OF MILWAUKEE,WI.
A delgate who is eligible by residency must reside in the areas listed at least 30 days prior to the competition.
A delegate who is eligible by school attendance must attend a school in the areas listed or be a full time college student in the areas listed (12 credits)
A delegate who is eligible by EMPLOYMENT in the areas listed must work at least 32 hours per week for at least 60 days prior to the competition.
b. Delegate may not have been a previous MSF or MSFOT who participated in the Miss Wisconsin competition.
c. Delegate may not have been a previous State Finalist who competed in the National Finals of the Miss America competition or Miss America's Teen.
d. Based on your age on December 31, 2023
Age 19-28 qualify for the Miss Competition (If your birth year is 1996 to 2006)
Age 13-18 qualify for the Teen Competition (If your birth year is 2006 to 2010)
e. Delegate must be a US Citizen. MSF candidate must also hold a valid driver’s license.
f. Delegate should not have ever been married or have any children, adopted children, etc.
g. Delegate must attend a minimum of one-half of the scheduled rehearsals to be eligible for scholarship awards.
h. Register with Miss America: Delegate should visit missamerica.org/register to pay $39.99 membership fee.
NOTE: This fee is good for one competition season. NOT calendar year.
i. Local Competition Fee:
MSF: Must register and pay $39.99 Membership Fee for 2025 Competition cycle. This is a one time fee for the competition cycle. It is non-refundable.
MSFT: Must register and pay $39.99 Membership Fee for 2025 Competition cycle. This is a one time fee for the competition cycle. It is non-refundable. Local competition fee set by individual local. Fee $75 payable to Miss St. Francis Scholarship Organization.
j. Delegate must be of good moral character and never been involved in any act of moral turpitude; never performed any act or engaged in any activity or employment that is or could reasonable be characterized as dishonest, immoral or indecent; never been, or is not now pregnant; never have been married, or had a marriage annulled; never been convicted of any criminal offense or have no criminal charges pending; may not use or consume any illegal controlled dangerous substances or abuse the use of alcohol or other dangerous substances.
k. A Delegate must be available to prepare and compete in the Miss Wisconsin Competition in June 2024.
Delegate must display a Talent in NOT MORE than a ninety second (1:30) talent routine, which must be presented live and not by way of motion picture film. This requirement does not apply to vocal or instrumental recordings used in conjunction with the live presentation. This talent may be singing, dancing, playing a musical instrument, baton twirling, reading, monologue, art display, dress designing, etc., or a speech.
Delegate will choose a Social Impact Initiative to promote a chosen topic.
Delegate may not compete in another local Miss America or Miss America's Teen competition in the same year after having been selected the winner in any local competition.
Awards will not be available to the winner of the Miss St. Francis or MSFT competition until after she has:
a. Completed her participation at the Miss Wisconsin Competition; AND
b. Fulfilled her responsibilities as Miss St. Francis/ MSFT during her year of service as determined by the Miss St. Francis Competition Organization; AND,
c. Her successor is named.
